Project Overview
The aim was to make the business, Action Blinds more visible to customers and to the systems that generate answers in AI-driven search. The approach covered the website, online listings, social media, review signals and basic data collection so the team can measure and feed the AI systems with reliable information.
The Problem
Action Blinds was relying on word of mouth and some digital advertising but they were unsure how good they were doing comparatively and how to track it better. They were getting traffic for generic terms like ‘blinds +galway’.
- Inconsistent or incomplete business listings and profiles across directories and maps. A number of years back they had relocated from the Sean Mulvoy road in Galway City to their current business location in Oranmore Business Park behind the Maldron Hotel.
- The website lacked structured data in places that were formatted for quick machine answers.
- Reviews and customer interactions were not being tracked and collected in a way that could be reused to train or inform AI results.
- The team did not have a simple, repeatable way to measure week to week performance across calls, WhatsApp, store visits and emails to understand how well they were doing with paid adverts and was it accurately feeding into the right opportunities for business growth.
Our Approach
AiSe implemented a clear, practical set of actions to improve the overall digital footprint and set up a process to improve them for the next wave of marketing.
- Locked and standardised the business name, address and phone across the website and key listings so every reference matches exactly.
- Claimed and began to fully optimise Google Business Profile, synced Bing Places and added listings on Houzz and other relevant directories. Added WhatsApp Business and linked it on the website and Google profile.
- Fixed website crawlability and mobile issues, improved metadata and updated the homepage, contact pages and other product pages as well as a new FAQ page
- Designed and developed a full model of code developed specifically for ai crawlers to correctly pull in the most relevant information for Action Blinds to feed users looking for queries where Action Blinds would be the perfect choice.
- Built a full FAQ page and rewrote service pages in a simple, question-answer format so they can be used directly by AI systems. FAQ page: https://actionblinds.ie/faq/
- Began a practical review and conversation capture process. The team now tallies calls, WhatsApp messages, in-store queries and emails each week. This data is used to measure performance and to supply the AI with accurate signals in time.
- Set up a prompt testing and benchmarking plan so the team can periodically check how Action Blinds is referenced for core phrases.
How we worked with the team
- Carried out interviews and full audit to understand the needs of the business and become subject matter experts and an extension of the team.
- Kept everything simple and repeatable. The team records the basic counts and stores notes so anyone can run the week by week report.
- Prioritised the items that have the most immediate effect on how AI and search find and use the site.
- Trained the core team member to gather the information that is going to have the biggest long term success such as customer review training and improving and gathering photos of successful installations for google, website and social media.

The Results
The changes have already produced measurable improvements across traffic and brand interest during the project period and now they are set up for compounded gains.
Key numbers
- Business enquiries and overall business activity up 40%. This is a combination of improved listing accuracy, clearer site pages and the addition of direct contact channels such as WhatsApp Business and improvements to google my business and other channels.
- Organic impressions up 35% and clicks to the website up 21%. The increase in shows the site is being surfaced more often and is winning a higher share of attention while many competitors saw declines.
- Brand search queries up 67%. This means more people are actively looking for Action Blinds by name, which strengthens both direct demand and the signal AI systems use when building answers.

Achieving AI visibility was an explicit goal, and recent tests confirm strong results already after 2 months. Previously unlisted, Action Blinds is now being referenced by AI systems for key search queries:

“Where can I find custom window blinds suppliers in Galway?” Action Blinds was not listed originally and then leapt into fourth place in month one and now first in month two. It is now the top answer regularly on google, ChatGPt and others.
